Last updated: June 2026. These terms govern any water damage restoration, mitigation, or repair work performed by Brandywine Water Damage & Restoration for you.
You'll receive a written estimate before work begins. Work proceeds only after you authorize it, either verbally during an emergency dispatch or in writing for scheduled jobs. Your final invoice will match the estimate unless the scope of damage changes once we open up the affected area.
Payment is due upon completion unless you're filing an insurance claim, in which case we can bill your carrier directly under a signed assignment of benefits. You remain responsible for any deductible or amount your insurer does not cover.
We dry structures to the goals set by ANSI/IICRC S500-2021. If our drying work does not meet that standard, we'll redo it at no cost to you within a reasonable time after you notify us.
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, mold growth that began before our arrival, or damage to items you decline to have moved or treated. Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the affected service.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of New Castle County, Delaware.
